The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in East Sarajevo has an equipped multimedia classroom for distance learning, through both types of teaching:
- A teacher from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering gives lectures to a target group that can be anywhere
- A group of students is listening to a lesson where the lecturer is at another location.
The backbone of the distance learning system is the Tandberg system, which is compatible with other systems such as Polycom. Therefore, it is not necessary to have equipment from the same manufacturer at both communicating points.
In addition to the professional Tandberg system, the Multimedia Classroom also has a Logitec professional webcam, through which distance learning can also be performed, requiring only the Internet as a medium.
The classroom is equipped with a professional lighting and sound system to support distance learning.
