Basic information about the department:
Department for thermal energy and process engineering was founded by the decision of the Senate of the University of East Sarajevo in October 2014, and by fulfilling the legal conditions for work, it was constituted in March 2016.
The Rulebook on the organization and work of departments at the University of East Sarajevo and the decisions of the Senate determine the parent unit, organization, way of establishment, competencies, manner of work, obligations and responsibilities.
This department unites teaching-scientific, collaborative and scientific research staff in the field of thermal energy and process engineering, regardless of the organizational unit in which they are predominantly engaged.
It is based at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in East Sarajevo. Department’s personnel is determined at the beginning of each academic year and consists of responsible teachers and associates for subjects under the jurisdiction of this department, which are performed at organizational units of the University of East Sarajevo.
The main activity of this department is related to the module of energy process engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering East Sarajevo. The department is also responsible for subjects and the selection of appropriate teachers and associates in other organizational units (Production and management faculty Trebinje, Faculty of transport and traffic engineering Doboj, Faculty of electrical engineering East Sarajevo, Faculty of education Bijeljina, Faculty of technology Zvornik …).
Department for thermal energy and process engineering provides scientific, professional and personal support to the Center for thermal energy and process engineering – CETEP at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering East Sarajevo.
